Charity Art Auction
Over the last 15 years, Otafest has been able to donate thousands of dollars to various charities throughout the world with your amazing support. Being able to support humanitarian causes through our love of anime is something we are very proud of. This year we have created a new way for you to support our charity efforts. Our charity this year is the Canadian Mental Health Association (Calgary Branch) and we have created two exclusive charity art prints that you will have the opportunity to bid on at Otafest 2013.
Otafest has taken great care of our history and we were fortunate to find some inspiration for this art from our past. At Otafest 2000, our guidebook had a centerfold that featured a sexy fan service picture of Seph drawn by her original artist Kai.
We felt this playful art would be perfect as our starting point to create our first ever charity art prints. The artist for these prints is Naguri.
There will only be one print made of each character for auction. You will be bidding on an exclusive and rare piece of Otafest history that you will be able to display in your home forever!
These prints will be displayed at the registration table and will only be available to purchase through silent auction.
The prints include:
- A frame
- A signature from our artist
- A signature from Persephone or Aurora
- A digital photo of you holding the art with Persephone & Aurora
- Your name on our website thanking you for your donation
